Cookies and Storage

Effective date: August 4, 2026
Version: 1.0.0

1. Scope

This page explains the first-party browser-storage functions used by the website at rivahyll.com, which is operated by Rivahyll Group LLC ("Rivahyll").

The website uses a theme preference and a short-lived navigation flag. It does not use Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, advertising pixels or behavioral profiling tools.

Vercel's hosting, runtime logging, observability and security functions separately process technical information for website delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. For information about personal-information handling, see the Privacy Policy.

2. Theme Preference

When a visitor selects a light or dark theme, the website stores the selected display preference in browser local storage under the key theme so that it can be applied on later visits.

The stored preference remains until the visitor changes it, selects Use system setting, clears the website's stored data or the browser removes it.

When Use system setting is selected, the website follows the browser or operating-system preference and removes any explicit stored light or dark value.

Rivahyll does not use the theme preference for advertising, behavioral profiling or marketing analytics.

3. Session Navigation Flag

During a browser tab or session, the website stores a short-lived first-party navigation flag in session storage under the key riva-has-internal-history.

The flag is stored for the browser tab or session lifecycle to support internal navigation and back-button behavior. It is removed according to the browser's normal session-storage lifecycle.

Rivahyll does not use the flag for advertising, behavioral profiling or marketing analytics.

4. Cookies and Other Browser Technologies

The website application does not intentionally set browser-readable cookies for the current website functions described on this page. It also does not use IndexedDB, Cache Storage or Service Worker registration for those functions.

Some technical cookies or similar storage, including items not accessible to JavaScript, may be set or managed by hosting or security infrastructure and may only be visible through browser or response-header inspection.

5. Browser Requests and Provider-Side Processing

The website does not use visible third-party browser endpoints for advertising, behavioral profiling, Vercel Web Analytics or Vercel Speed Insights.

Browser-visible requests and provider-side infrastructure processing are different. Vercel may process technical request, runtime, diagnostic and security information even where a visitor's browser displays only the Rivahyll domain.

6. Managing Stored Information

Visitors can change the theme through the website's theme control.

When Use system setting is selected, the website follows the browser or operating-system preference and removes any explicit stored light or dark value.

Visitors can also remove stored website information through their browser's site-data or privacy settings. Session storage is removed according to the browser's normal session lifecycle.

7. Changes

This page may be updated if the website's storage technologies, technical configuration or applicable requirements change.

The effective date and version will be updated when material changes are made.
